OMXS30 closes 0.51 percent lower as inflation and tech stocks weigh

Inflation and industrial stocks weigh
Swedish consumer price inflation rose to 1.1 percent year over year in September from 0.3 percent in August, below the 1.2 percent consensus cited by Bloomberg, while CPIF inflation reached 1.5 percent. Core CPIF inflation was 0.5 percent, below the 0.7 percent forecast, Placera reported.
Industrial stocks were among the main drags. Addtech fell 4.7 percent at 12:50 p.m. CEST, while ABB was down 2.1 percent. Telecom shares provided some support, with Telia up 1.7 percent and Tele2 B gaining 1.4 percent at the same time, according to Placera.
NCC rises on asset sale
NCC moved against the broader market after announcing the sale of its Industry business for an enterprise value of SEK 8.2 billion. Heidelberg Materials is buying the Swedish and Norwegian operations, while CRH is acquiring the Danish and Finnish businesses. NCC gained 5.3 percent at 12:10 p.m. CEST.
