The TecDAX closed at 3,978 points on October 12, gaining 13 points or 0.3 percent by 5:50 p.m. CET, STOXX reported. Lower oil prices and easing eurozone bond yields supported European equities, Reuters said.

Why did the TecDAX rise on October 12?
Brent crude eased as markets assessed prospects for additional Russian diesel supplies and an energy ceasefire. December Brent futures were down 0.2 percent at USD 104.53 a barrel, according to Morningstar.
Germany's 10-year Bund yield slipped to 3.46 percent. Falling oil prices and reduced concerns about supply disruptions helped lower expectations for further European Central Bank tightening, Trading Economics reported.
