New dry-eye product in Canada
In a September 28, 2026 release distributed by Business Wire, Alcon announced the launch of Systane PRO Preservative-Free in Canada. The company said the multi-dose, preservative-free formula is designed to hydrate, restore and protect dry eyes and provide up to 12 hours of dry-eye symptom relief. The product was described as the longest-lasting dry-eye relief eye drop in Alcon’s Systane portfolio.
The company said the formulation includes HP-guar, hyaluronic acid, nano-sized lipids and propylene glycol. Alcon also said the product was available in Canada at the time of the announcement.
