CEO changes announced at Allianz Partners and Allianz Direct
In a release dated October 1, 2026, Allianz said Philipp Kroetz, CEO of Allianz Direct since 2022, will become CEO of Allianz Partners effective November 1, 2026. Laurent Floquet, currently chief operating officer of Allianz Partners, will succeed Kroetz as CEO of Allianz Direct on the same date. The appointments remain subject to regulatory approval.
The issuer said the changes are intended to ensure continuity following Tomas Kunzmannâs appointment to the Allianz SE Board of Management, effective January 1, 2027. Allianz also said the businesses operate across digital and cross-border insurance solutions spanning motor, home, travel, assistance and health.
