On September 24, 2026, Amadeus IT Group and Japan Airlines announced plans to begin rolling out New Distribution Capability content through the Amadeus Travel Platform in October. The companies said travel agencies using Amadeus across 26 countries and regions will progressively be able to handle JAL Group tickets through NDC. Sales are scheduled to begin October 1 in Japan and October 13 in overseas markets, for international tickets. Japan Airlines published the joint release.
Amadeus said on September 14 that it had introduced two hotel distribution capabilities, Amadeus Leisure Connect Plus and Amadeus Value Hotels, through strategic connectivity with HyperGuest. The company said Leisure Connect Plus can connect sellers to more than 150 channel managers through real-time APIs. The connectivity also adds 15,000 directly sourced independent properties to Amadeus Value Hotels. Amadeus issued the announcement.
