Smart camera enters mass production
In a September 10, 2026 release, Aptiv Investor Relations said its new advanced driver-assistance smart camera had entered mass production on a European-market vehicle program of a leading Chinese new-energy vehicle manufacturer. Aptiv said the system uses a Chinese automotive-grade system-on-chip, Wind River Kaiwu RTOS and StradVision vision-perception technology. The company also said the design meets Euro NCAP 2026 five-star safety requirements and reduces hardware size and power consumption by 20 percent.
