Arm outlines secure AI infrastructure
In a September 28, 2026, post, the Arm Newsroom described a joint architecture with NVIDIA’s Open Agent Safety Platform. Arm said its CPUs can run agentic workloads while Arm-based infrastructure processors, including data processing units, provide independent observation, isolation, policy enforcement and security.
The post said NVIDIA BlueField-4 uses 64 Arm Neoverse V2 cores to provide an independent infrastructure environment beyond the host. In a September 8, 2026, release, Arm said its Neoverse Compute Subsystems N4 supports up to 128 cores per die, LPDDR6 memory and PCIe Gen 7 connectivity. Arm reported that N4 delivers up to twice the performance, up to 1.25 times the performance per watt and up to 1.75 times the memory bandwidth of Neoverse CSS N3.
