ASML Holding begins construction of new Eindhoven campus

ASML Holding N.V. began construction of a new industrial campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, following a groundbreaking ceremony on September 8, 2026. The company said the campus will add manufacturing capacity to support its planned growth needs.

The development at Brainport Industries Campus North is ASML’s second major industrial campus in the Brainport region. According to ASML, the multi-phase project is expected eventually to span approximately 350,000 square meters and provide potential capacity for up to 20,000 workplaces.

Industrial campus planned in phases

The first phase is expected to be completed in 2029 and will house at least 3,000 employees. ASML said the location will bring together production, logistics and supporting office activities, with the workplaces primarily intended for teams relocating from existing ASML locations.

The campus is also planned to include ASML’s new flow factory, a manufacturing model for its TWINSCAN factory designed to support faster, more efficient and higher-scale module production and installation. The company said the campus will complement its existing office space and manufacturing capacity in the Brainport region.

Buyback transactions reported

In a separate September 14, 2026 release, ASML reported that it repurchased 223,178 shares between September 7 and September 11 under its current share buyback program. The transactions had a combined reported value of EUR 331,363,392, based on the company’s daily figures. ASML said the program was announced on January 28, 2026.
