Master Trust reaches milestone
Aviva plc said its Aviva Master Trust had surpassed GBP 20 billion in assets under management as of September 28. The issuer said the trust supports more than 650 participating employers and over 650,000 members across the UK. Aviva attributed the growth to new employers selecting the trust, continued contributions from existing members and investment performance, according to the company release.
The company also said the trust had expanded its offering during 2026. Its My Future Vision option allocates 20 to 25 percent of assets to private markets depending on members' stage before retirement, while a new financial wellbeing tool is available to members through Aviva's app and online pension portal, the release said.
Protection business plans conservation challenge
Aviva's Protection business is scheduled to join partner firms for the Skiddaw Forest Challenge on September 30 and October 1. The event is intended to raise funds for Cumbria Wildlife Trust and support restoration of the Skiddaw Forest landscape in the Lake District. Aviva said the initiative forms part of its GBP 38 million partnership with The Wildlife Trusts to restore and reconnect temperate rainforest areas across the British Isles, according to a separate Aviva release.
