Banorte stock: Caintra agreement targets financing for more than 5,000 businesses

Milenio reported that the agreement includes preferential conditions, faster processing and the possibility of transferring loans from other banks.
Streamlined lending for small businesses
According to Milenio, Jorge Centeno, Banorte's deputy general director for small-business banking, said financing of up to MXN 8 million would be evaluated using account statements and tax-authority information rather than requiring financial statements. The report said businesses could access amounts of up to MXN 50 million depending on their needs.
Caintra financing activity
Milenio also reported that Caintra had recorded 172 credit applications through financial alliances established during 2026, representing nearly MXN 500 million. Of that total, MXN 37 million had been approved and MXN 20 million was in the formalization process, while more than 600 businesses had received training.
