In a September 30 release, BASF said it was expanding its Ultradur engineering-plastics portfolio with glass-fiber-reinforced PBT/PET compounds containing up to 30 percent post-consumer recycled PET. The company said the Ultradur RC1 grades were designed for structural automotive components including brackets, housings, structural parts and connectors.
Evonik discussions remain open
