Daimler Truck presents new truck technologies
In a September 13, 2026 company release, Daimler Truck said it was showcasing battery-electric, hydrogen-powered and diesel technologies at IAA Transportation 2026. The release said the eActros 600 had covered more than 160 million customer-driven kilometers since its market launch at the end of 2024, while GenH2 fuel-cell trucks had completed almost 600,000 kilometers in customer trials.
The company also presented the eActros Lowliner, which is scheduled to enter series production at the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant in the second quarter of 2027. Daimler Truck said the vehicle will be available for order in EU30 markets and additional international markets from the third quarter of 2026.
