Deliveroo plans UK robot rollout
PR Newswire reported on October 5, 2026, that Deliveroo, a brand within DoorDash's global portfolio, and Coco Robotics had announced an exclusive partnership to expand robot deliveries across the United Kingdom.
According to the release, Coco Robotics plans to begin the rollout in London's Canary Wharf in October, followed by Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton-on-Tees and Nottingham in the coming weeks and months. The partnership marks Coco's UK debut and Deliveroo's first use of autonomous delivery vehicles in the country.
Electric robots to complement riders
The companies said Coco's fully electric robots are designed for short-distance urban deliveries and operate at walking pace along sidewalks.
