US counter-drone contract vehicle
DroneShield Limited said on September 30, 2026, that its wholly owned US subsidiary, DroneShield LLC, had been awarded a three-year Joint Interagency Task Force 401 Domestic Shield indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of US$500 million.
The company said the vehicle provides a pathway to compete for future task and delivery orders supporting counter-unmanned aircraft systems for US homeland defense. The announcement stated that the contract does not guarantee orders and that the amounts cannot be quantified at this time. DroneShield also said it had previously delivered DroneSentry-X Mk2 systems in support of JIATF-401 requirements.
DroneShield described the award as an additional contracting pathway for counter-UAS capabilities intended for military installations, critical infrastructure and other high-priority locations across the United States.
