EloraTZP advances toward Phase 3
In a September 30 release, Eli Lilly and Company said its investigational EloraTZP combination met the primary and secondary endpoints in a 48-week Phase 2b study involving 367 adults with obesity or overweight and type 2 diabetes. Participants receiving the highest combination dose lost an average of up to 54.1 pounds, or 23.3 percent, and reduced A1C by up to 2.9 percent. Lilly said it plans to initiate Phase 3 studies in the fourth quarter of 2026.
EBGLYSS data in atopic dermatitis
Eli Lilly and Company also reported that EBGLYSS monotherapy met the primary and secondary endpoints at Week 16 in the Phase 3b ADtouch study. Among treated participants, 53 percent achieved clear or almost clear hands and feet, compared with 27 percent for placebo. Lilly said the data will be presented at the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Vienna.
