Experian launches cash-flow analytics for commercial lenders
Experian announced on September 29, 2026, that it had launched Cashflow Attributes for commercial lenders. The solution transforms business bank transaction data into analytics-ready attributes designed to help financial institutions assess business financial health and make lending decisions. The announcement was issued by Business Wire.
Experian said the product provides predictive analytics on liquidity, revenue trends, operating expenses, debt exposure and repayment capacity. More than 500 analytics-ready attributes can be used across underwriting, portfolio management and model development, according to the release. Experian's preliminary analysis found up to a 24% lift in predictive performance when the attributes were paired with traditional commercial credit data.
Product expands commercial data capabilities
The launch uses first-party transaction data and permissioned commercial bank-account transaction data. Experian selected Slope, a provider of business decisioning and commercial bank-account data technology, to help deliver the commercial cash-flow capabilities.
On its investor-relations website, Experian plc says it delivered a strong start to fiscal 2027 and that its full-year expectations were unchanged.
