First-half growth

At its August 19, 2026 half-year conference call, Yahoo Finance reported that Geberit AG’s first-half net sales increased 3% to CHF 1.71 billion. In local currencies, sales grew 6%, driven primarily by volume growth. Second-quarter net sales rose 7% in Swiss francs to CHF 838 million, while local-currency sales increased 9%.

Profitability and capital allocation

Geberit said first-half EBITDA increased 3% in Swiss francs and 7% in local currencies, with an EBITDA margin of 30.9%. Net income rose 7% in Swiss francs and 10% in local currencies, while earnings per share increased 8% in Swiss francs to CHF 11.09. The company also said its CHF 300 million share-buyback program was completed ahead of schedule in early June and that a new program with a maximum volume of CHF 300 million had started.

2026 outlook

Geberit maintained its full-year 2026 guidance for local-currency net sales growth of 5% to 6% and an EBITDA margin around the previous year’s level, according to the transcript. The company expects a full-year sales-price effect of around 2.5% and capital expenditures of around CHF 200 million.
