Vipa Group acquisition completed
Hexpol announced on October 1 that it had completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Italian company Vipa Group. The transaction price was EUR 143.5 million on a cash- and debt-free basis and was funded through a combination of bank facilities and cash, according to the Hexpol press release.
Vipa Group operates production sites and a research and development center in Italy. Hexpol said the business generated 2025 turnover of EUR 76.4 million and would strengthen its Wire & Cable offering, with exposure to electrification, data centers, telecom and smart buildings.
