ACS Group said on September 30, 2026, that HOCHTIEF Infrastructure had been identified by Sellafield Ltd for Lot 2 of the Project and Asset Care Execution framework. The lot has an estimated value of up to GBP 1.5 billion and will run for up to 15 years, consisting of an initial nine-year term and a possible six-year extension.
According to GOV.UK, the broader PACE framework has a value of up to GBP 3.6 billion and remains subject to formal award. Lot 2 covers batch specialist and decommissioning nuclear facilities, including special nuclear materials, nuclear infrastructure and remediation. The framework is planned to run for an initial nine years with an option for a further six years, through to 2041.
