In a September 30, 2026 release, Honeywell Technologies said Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE had selected it to provide process technologies, licensing, engineering services, catalysts, equipment and digital solutions for a planned 700,000-barrel-per-day refinery in Kenya. The project scope is expected to be approximately $300 million, and Honeywell said the facility is expected to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and polypropylene once complete.
