The company said the 2026-27 program will support more than 150 small businesses across several U.S. locations, including veteran- and military-spouse-owned businesses nationwide. Intuit said applications for the program close October 15, 2026.

SimpleClosure announced an October 2, 2026 partnership with Intuit to help QuickBooks Workforce customers close state payroll-tax accounts when they stop running payroll. The integration allows customers to transfer company and state payroll-tax account details from QuickBooks to SimpleClosure, which manages the state-specific closure process. Business Wire reported that the process typically takes less than 10 minutes.
