Japan Tobacco launched two Ploom heated-tobacco products in Japan on October 6, 2026. The company introduced EVO Cocoa Mint Crystal nationwide through convenience stores and tobacco retailers, along with a limited-edition 22-stick pack.

JT listed both EVO products at JPY 620 per pack, with each standard pack containing 20 sticks and the limited-edition version containing 22 sticks. The company said the products are compatible with all Ploom devices.

New MEVIUS flavor

Japan Tobacco also released MEVIUS Tropical Option for Ploom on October 6. The product features a mango flavor, a capsule format and a price of JPY 590 per pack, according to the company's press release.
