New IMAAVY findings

On September 29, 2026, Johnson & Johnson announced new findings on IMAAVY (nipocalimab-aahu) for generalized myasthenia gravis across 15 abstracts scheduled for presentation at the 2026 Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America Scientific Session and American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine Annual Meeting. The company said the findings include two-year results from the Phase 2/3 Vibrance-MG long-term extension study in adolescents. Johnson & Johnson said the data showed sustained disease control, continued improvements in daily function and muscle strength, and reductions in corticosteroid use.

Study details

Among participants with available data, mean changes from baseline at Week 108 were minus 2.88 points on the MG-ADL scale and minus 8.25 points on the QMG scale, according to the company. Of six adolescent patients taking corticosteroids at study entry, three reduced their dose and one discontinued treatment after two years. Johnson & Johnson also reported that no new safety signals were identified through up to two years of treatment. The company release said IMAAVY is approved for generalized myasthenia gravis in adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older who are positive for anti-AChR or anti-MuSK antibodies.
