Senior management appointment
In a company announcement dated September 15, Kering said Sophie Maddaloni had been appointed General Secretary of the Group, effective immediately. Kering said on September 16 that it will host a Women In Motion Talk in Tokyo on October 27, 2026, as an allied event of the 39th Tokyo International Film Festival. The scheduled program at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills will feature Amy Homma, Kazunari Ninomiya and Chieko Murata, with opening remarks by filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda. Kering said the event will address the international influence of Japanese cinema and the future of film culture.
