Recent defense contract awards
On September 22, 2026, Leidos Holdings, Inc. said it would continue providing the Airborne Reconnaissance and Targeting Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System, or ARTEMIS, under a recent U.S. Army contract. The award is valued at up to USD 127 million and extends operations in the U.S. European Command area through summer 2027, with two additional option years.
The release said Leidos provides the aircraft, mission systems, flight operations and support services for the contractor-owned, contractor-operated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capability. The company has supported the mission since 2020.
In a September 14, 2026 correction, Leidos said the Department of the Navy awarded it USD 926 million for the second option year of the Next Generation Enterprise Network Service Management, Integration and Transport contract. The award covers network support for more than 650,000 Navy and Marine Corps personnel, more than 425,000 devices and more than 2,500 sites worldwide.
