MediaTek announced the Dimensity 9600 Pro on September 15, 2026. In its release, the company said the flagship system-on-chip uses a 2-nanometer process and reported a 61.00 percent reduction in multi-core power consumption in its testing.
The same release reported up to 17.00 percent higher single-core performance and up to 15.00 percent higher multi-core performance compared with the previous generation. MediaTek said the performance metrics were achieved through demo-device testing in its laboratories.
