Caelo acquisition completed

Medios AG said in an EQS News release dated October 1, 2026, that it had completed the acquisition of 74 percent of Caesar & Loretz GmbH, known as Caelo, after receiving antitrust clearance. Options to acquire the remaining 26 percent were agreed.

According to the release, Medios will combine its European compounding potential and active pharmaceutical ingredients business under Medios Holding Compounding Essentials GmbH, together with Magis Pharma in Belgium and Metapharmaceutical in Spain. Caelo will continue operating under its own brand. The company employs around 240 people and expects revenue of approximately EUR 40 million for the current financial year, the release said.
