Palantir expands sovereign AI infrastructure offering
Palantir Technologies Inc. and Armada announced a partnership on October 1, 2026, under which Palantir named Armada its inaugural Certified Modular Data Center Partner. The companies said the offering is intended for enterprises and governments that want to run open-weight models on computing, data and physical infrastructure they control. Armada published the announcement.
Under the agreement, Palantir will validate and integrate its Sovereign AI Operating System, built on AIP, Ontology, Foundry and Apollo, on Armada's Galleon modular data centers. Armada's Platform and Sovereign AI Grid are described as providing control, monitoring and resilience across deployments, including configurations that can operate without reliance on an external cloud. Armada said the hardware would be manufactured in the United States and allied nations.
