PetroChina Company Limited’s Shanghai-listed share last traded at CNY 11.19 at 7:00:01 UTC on September 28, 2026, up 2.19 percent from the previous close of CNY 10.95.
First-half results
In a PR Newswire release published August 30, PetroChina said revenue for the first half of 2026 reached CNY 1,527.49 billion, up 5.3 percent year over year. Profit attributable to owners of the company was CNY 103.94 billion, an increase of 22.0 percent, while basic earnings per share were CNY 0.57.
The company said first-half oil and gas equivalent output totaled 921 million barrels. Wind and solar power generation reached 5.07 billion kilowatt-hours, up 37.3 percent year over year, according to the same release.
Operating development
PetroChina said its oil, gas and new energies business generated operating profit of CNY 100.45 billion in the first half. The company also reported refining, chemicals and new materials operating profit of CNY 14.53 billion and said new materials output rose 61.4 percent to 2.69 million tons.
