Beerfelde project combines wind and storage
On September 23, 2026, PNE AG and ENERCON announced the development of the Beerfelde energy park in Brandenburg. The EQS News corporate release said the project will combine 98 MW of wind energy with a 32 MW battery-storage system.
PNE plans to construct the wind farm in the Oder-Spree district. The battery system is planned to have storage capacity of 70 MWh, while ENERCON will supply the wind turbines and battery storage equipment, according to the EQS News release.
The planned facility includes 14 E-175 EP5 E2 wind turbines and a dedicated substation. PNE CEO Heiko Wuttke described the project as an integrated energy system combining generation, storage and grid infrastructure, the EQS News announcement said.
