U.S. testing portfolio expanded

QIAGEN N.V. said U.S. laboratories now have access to its complete QIAstat-Dx bloodstream infection portfolio after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared the QIAstat-Dx BCID GN Plus AMR Panel. The panel identifies 13 gram-negative bacterial targets and 18 antimicrobial resistance markers, with results delivered in about one hour, according to the Business Wire release.

Together with the previously cleared panel for gram-positive bacteria and fungi, the two tests cover 33 pathogen targets and 28 antimicrobial resistance markers, QIAGEN said in the same release.

Shareholder meeting planned
