Roche Holding outlined plans to move toward autonomous artificial-intelligence laboratories at its Pharma Day in London on September 28, according to Reuters. Aviv Regev, executive vice president of Genentech Research and Early Development, said Roche was committed to “AI independence” in research and development and had begun building autonomous AI-driven labs.

Roche Investor Relations said the event would address pharma strategy and commercial growth drivers, R&D excellence, AI in early drug development and pipeline updates.
