UK manufacturing investment
Rolls-Royce Holdings plc announced a £300 million investment in UK manufacturing and engineering facilities on September 28. The company said the program is intended to support growth across its Civil Aerospace and Defense businesses and strengthen UK industrial capacity. More than £140 million is earmarked for new engineering and manufacturing facilities in Derby, while more than £90 million is planned for a facility upgrade program in Bristol. Rolls-Royce also outlined investments at sites in Inchinnan, Rotherham and Ansty, with work in Derby expected to be completed in 2028 and the Bristol program in 2031.
Longer-term UK footprint
Rolls-Royce said it has invested more than £3 billion in the UK since the start of its transformation program in 2023. The company also said it spent more than £2.8 billion with UK-based suppliers in 2025.
