Recycle for Good expands in Indonesia
In a September 22, 2026 release, SIG said it and its project partners were expanding the Recycle for Good initiative beyond Greater Jakarta to Surabaya, Malang, West Nusa Tenggara and Bali. The company said the project had been implemented across 389 locations and included upgraded pulping equipment at a recycling facility operated with Eco-Paper.
The regional Recycle for Good - Prevent Marine Litter project covers Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines and is scheduled to run through December 2028. SIG said the combined regional targets are to prevent at least 10,000 tons of packaging waste from entering the ocean and engage at least 100,000 households.
