Debt refinancing announced
In a September 22, 2026 release, SPIE SA said it had successfully placed EUR 500 million of senior notes due in 2032. The sustainability-linked bond has a 5.5-year maturity and a coupon of 4.875 percent.
SPIE said the net proceeds would be used for general corporate purposes and the partial refinancing of existing indebtedness. The company also launched a partial repurchase invitation for its 2028 ORNANEs, which had an initial nominal amount of EUR 400 million and mature on January 17, 2028. The target amount was approximately EUR 388 million, according to the company announcement.
Early redemption terms
The company also announced that the remaining outstanding 2028 ORNANEs would be redeemed early on October 22, 2026. The redemption amount was set at par plus accrued interest of EUR 100,527.17 per ORNANE, while holders retained conversion or exchange rights through October 13, 2026, the release said.
