Tenaris invests USD 10 million in Nigeria, stock after-hours at EUR 49.60: minus 2.07 percent

Investment in Nigeria
In its October 2 release, Tenaris said the upgraded plant supported the coating campaign for the Bonga North deepwater project. The company said the project was completed on an accelerated schedule and involved waters exceeding 1,000 meters in depth. Tenaris also marked 25 years of operations in Nigeria.
Canadian production
Tenaris said in a September 30 release that it had begun domestic production of its TN 95EY proprietary steel grade at the Sault Ste. Marie Industrial Centre in Ontario. The grade is designed for demanding oil and gas applications, including high-pressure and high-temperature wells and sour-service applications. Tenaris said its Canadian operations have more than 1,300 employees.
