Under the agreement, UnitedHealthcare Global will exclusively endorse Cigna Global Health Benefits as its preferred international health insurer for UnitedHealthcare Global clients. The announcement said UnitedHealthcare Global is withdrawing from the international private medical insurance business across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the agreement does not include UnitedHealthcare Global products, provider networks, service platforms or other operating assets.
