New GNSS receiver lineup
In a September 10, 2026 release, Trimble said it had unveiled the BD1090, BD1092, BD1092i and BX1092i receiver modules, which use the company’s Maxwell 8 technology. The modules are designed for original equipment manufacturers serving the geospatial, marine, construction and mining industries.
Trimble said the receivers include JammerGuard anti-jamming and anti-spoofing capabilities, expanded “all-in-view” tracking, a quad-core CPU with DDR4 RAM and compatibility with emerging low-Earth-orbit constellations. The company also said Maxwell 8 provides four times the processing power of its predecessor and that MEMS-based oscillators provide 10 times lower vibration sensitivity.
The release said the new receivers were scheduled for display at ION GNSS+ 2026 in Orlando from September 14 through September 18 and at INTERGEO 2026 in Munich from September 15 through September 17.
