Uniper stock reports 40,000-metric-ton annual eSAF agreement

Uniper SE has agreed to purchase 40,000 metric tons of sustainable aviation fuel produced from renewable energy each year from Arcadia eFuels’ Project Endor in Vordingborg, Denmark. The agreement was announced on September 23, 2026, and runs for more than 10 years, according to an Arcadia eFuels release.
Long-term fuel agreement
The legally binding agreement covers eSAF, or electro-sustainable aviation fuel, from the planned facility in Denmark. The start of deliveries remains subject to agreed conditions and the plant beginning commercial operations, the company announcement said.
Planned production timeline
Current planning calls for supplies to begin in the early 2030s. The contracted annual volume is equivalent to the fuel required for approximately 1,000 Boeing 787-9 flights between Düsseldorf and Abu Dhabi, according to the Arcadia release.
