UnitedHealthcare introduces 2027 Medicare plans
UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group business, introduced its 2027 Medicare Advantage plans on October 1. The company said more than 94 percent of Medicare-eligible individuals nationwide will have access to a UnitedHealthcare Medicare plan, while approximately 90 percent of eligible consumers with access to a UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plan will have a zero-premium option.
The release said all members will have access to zero-dollar primary care visits, zero-dollar preventive care services and zero-dollar Tier 1 prescription drug copays in 2027. UnitedHealthcare also said members will be able to use benefits at more than 70,000 participating retail locations, including Walmart, Dollar General and Target.
