Alberta lease agreements
In a September 28, 2026 release, VICI Properties said it had agreed to enter into a new separate triple-net lease with a Highfield subsidiary for the real property of Century Mile and Century Downs in Alberta, Canada. The lease is set to carry initial annual base rent of C$10.7 million, equivalent to US$7.5 million based on the day before the announcement, and a 20-year term with four five-year renewal options. The transactions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. VICI said the corresponding reduction in rent under its existing Century master lease would leave aggregate rent collected unchanged.
