SOTUVER (ISIN TN0006560015) faces a lower 2026-27 profit outlook after AlphaMena lowered its 2026-27 profit outlook on October 9, 2026, citing a sharper-than-expected contraction in first-half 2026 margins. The report makes profitability, rather than headline revenue growth, the key issue for SOTUVER stock.
Three results shaped the picture
On October 2, 2026, Leconomiste Maghrebin reported first-half 2026 revenue of TND 66.20 million, compared with TND 51.10 million in the first half of 2025. That is a 29.55 percent year-over-year increase, but the same report said operating profit fell 17.20 percent to TND 8.80 million.
On October 3, 2026, African Manager reported net profit of TND 7.90 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, versus TND 2.10 million in the first half of 2025. The result included a TND 7.70 million exceptional gain linked to insurance compensation after a January fire.
What does the outlook cut mean?
The earnings mix explains AlphaMena's caution: excluding exceptional items, profit from ordinary activities after tax was TND 164,060 in the first half of 2026, compared with TND 2.20 million in the first half of 2025, according to Leconomiste Maghrebin. Production lines 12 and 13 restarted during the first half, while line 14 was expected to restart during the second half of 2026.
This creates a clear split between sales recovery and recurring earnings. Domestic revenue rose to TND 26.50 million from TND 11.10 million, while export revenue was TND 39.80 million versus TND 40.00 million in the first half of 2025, according to African Manager.
Ownership changed during 2026
BA Glass acquired 16,205,315 SOTUVER shares, equal to 41.28 percent of the capital, during the first half of 2026, according to Leconomiste Maghrebin. Representatives of the Portuguese glass group joined SOTUVER's board, adding a strategic ownership factor to the earnings reset.
SOTUVER is listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange under the ticker SOTUV, and it manufactures hollow glass packaging for food and beverage customers in Tunisia and export markets, according to Irbe7.
