GoTo Group reported a third consecutive quarterly profit on October 29, 2026, as fintech growth offset pressure on its mobility business. The company also raised its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance. The figures come from GoTo's earnings release.

Fintech offsets mobility pressure

For the quarter ended September 30, net profit reached Rp441 billion, compared with a net loss of Rp255 billion in the same period of 2025. Net revenue increased 17 percent year over year to Rp5.6 trillion, while core gross transaction value rose 89 percent to Rp194 trillion.

Financial technology was the main earnings driver. GoPay's adjusted EBITDA rose 304 percent to Rp550 billion, supported by a 49 percent increase in segment net revenue. Monthly transacting users reached 30.4 million, while loans outstanding principal increased 51 percent to Rp12 trillion.

On-demand services remained profitable, but mobility earnings declined. Adjusted EBITDA for the segment increased 3 percent to Rp347 billion, while the mobility business posted adjusted EBITDA of Rp159 billion, down 16 percent year over year. GoTo said the first full quarter under Indonesia's 8 percent commission cap on two-wheel transport affected GoRide.

Guidance and capital allocation

GoTo lifted its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to Rp3.5 trillion to Rp3.7 trillion, from Rp3.2 trillion to Rp3.4 trillion previously. The fintech range was raised to Rp1.9 trillion to Rp2.0 trillion, while the on-demand services range was widened to Rp1.4 trillion to Rp1.6 trillion.

Shareholders approved the cancellation of 32 billion treasury shares at an October 14 extraordinary meeting. The shares are expected to be cancelled within two to three months after regulatory procedures, potentially reducing the outstanding share count by about 2.7 percent. GoTo also said it had repurchased 36 billion shares for Rp985 billion as of October 29.

Indonesia's digital ecosystem

GoTo is headquartered in Jakarta and operates an Indonesian digital ecosystem spanning Gojek mobility and delivery, GoPay payments and financial services, Tokopedia e-commerce services, and technology solutions for merchants. The company describes itself as Indonesia's largest digital ecosystem. Its broad combination of mobility, commerce and fintech distinguishes it from more focused regional competitors such as Grab, Sea Limited and Traveloka, which are listed alongside GoTo in Distill Intelligence's competitor landscape.
