HomeTrust Bancshares appointed Charles F. Bowman to its board effective Monday, October 26, the company said in a Business Wire release published Wednesday, October 28. Bowman had served as an advisory director of HomeTrust and HomeTrust Bank since July.

Bowman retired as Bank of America president for North Carolina in 2022 after 26 years with the bank. His previous responsibilities included global compliance, legal, trust services, regulatory remediation and community engagement, according to the release.
