- Revenue growth outpaced the prior-year period, supported particularly by smartphone sales.
- Gross profit increased faster than revenue as margins improved across most divisions.
- Third-quarter earnings also advanced from the comparable prior-year period.
Jarir Marketing reported a stronger first nine months of 2026, according to Argaam. The financial results, published on October 13, 2026, showed net income of SAR 863 million for the period ended September 30, up 16.7% from the prior-year period. Revenue reached SAR 8.97 billion, an increase of 9.7%.
Revenue growth and margin improvement
Argaam reported that sales growth was driven by expansion across all segments, particularly smartphones. Gross profit rose 16.6% to SAR 1.18 billion, outpacing revenue growth. The improvement was supported by higher margins across most divisions and a reduced need for discounted promotional offers compared with the previous year, when product supplies were scarce.
The results indicate that Jarir's earnings growth was not based solely on higher sales volumes. The stronger gross-profit development suggests that product mix and pricing conditions also supported profitability during the reporting period.
Third-quarter performance
In the third quarter, revenue increased 7.8% year on year to SAR 3.15 billion, while net income rose 15.1% to SAR 374 million. Operating income advanced 14.7% to SAR 396.4 million, and gross profit increased 14.4% to SAR 499.1 million.
Compared with the second quarter of 2026, third-quarter net income rose 58.8%. That sequential comparison reflects the quarterly reporting pattern and should not be treated as a direct measure of the stock's future performance.
