- MSI presented server platforms spanning air-cooled, liquid-cooled and rack-scale deployments.
- The company is extending its portfolio from data center systems to desktop AI development.
- Its strategy targets demand for flexible computing infrastructure across Taiwan, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Micro-Star International presented a broader AI infrastructure portfolio at the OCP Global Summit on October 13, 2026. According to MarketScreener, the company showcased 21-inch ORv3 systems, DC-MHS modular platforms, NVIDIA MGX rack and server solutions, and the XpertStation WS300 desktop AI supercomputer.
The presentation gives investors a view of MSI's push beyond traditional gaming and PC components. Its infrastructure lineup is designed to cover different deployment sizes, from local AI development to high-density data center workloads.
From Modular Servers To Desktop AI
MSI's ORv3 portfolio includes two-node systems in air-cooled and direct-liquid-cooled configurations. The company also presented a 48-rack-unit NVIDIA MGX configuration built from liquid-cooled servers, networking equipment and management switches.
The XpertStation WS300 extends the same strategy to the desktop. The system uses NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip and supports local AI model prototyping, fine-tuning and inference. Two units can be clustered for larger workloads, according to the MarketScreener report.
For investors, the product mix points to an attempt to capture AI infrastructure spending across several layers rather than relying only on consumer PC demand. Commercial adoption, customer orders and the pace of data center investment remain important factors for the outlook.
MSI's Business And Competitive Position
MSI is a Taiwan-based computer hardware company that manufactures and distributes motherboards, graphics cards, notebooks, monitors, servers, industrial computers and related consumer electronics. Its products are sold mainly in Taiwan, Europe, other parts of Asia and the Americas, according to the company profile published by MarketScreener and MSI.
In PC components and gaming hardware, MSI competes with Taiwan-based ASUSTeK Computer and Gigabyte. MSI is positioned as a diversified specialist that combines consumer hardware with a growing server and AI infrastructure offering, while its rivals have similarly broad positions across PC components and systems.
