NOMAD Power Solutions announced on October 28, 2026, that it had appointed Utility Specialists and Elgin B. Robertson as independent sales representatives. The company said the appointments expand its utility sales network to 26 states and Washington, D.C. The details were published by GlobeNewswire in a release attributed to NOMAD.
New representatives target utility demand
Utility Specialists, based in Birmingham, Alabama, will cover Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Elgin B. Robertson, headquartered in Dallas, will represent NOMAD in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
The firms are expected to develop opportunities for NOMAD's Voyager Eagle, Voyager Falcon and Voyager Hawk systems among utilities, municipalities, data center developers and operators, electrical contractors and other industrial customers. They join First Line Associates and Peterson Company, which already cover the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Mountain West.
Performance-based model limits fixed costs
NOMAD said compensation for the representative agreements will be tied to sales, with no fixed representative fees. That structure broadens the company's commercial reach while avoiding a stated increase in fixed selling costs, although the announcement does not quantify potential orders or revenue from the new territories.
The company is positioning its transportable lithium iron phosphate battery systems for temporary power support, backup power and peak-demand management. The release also said NOMAD is supporting its sales effort with a fall demonstration tour and plans a Southwest roadshow in November, while a Southeast demonstration is still to be scheduled.
