PLAYSTUDIOS regained compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid-price requirement after the exchange confirmed that its Class A common stock had met the threshold for ten consecutive business days. The company received the notification on October 15, 2026, according to its Form 8-K filing.
Listing issue formally closed
Nasdaq confirmed that PLAYSTUDIOS maintained a closing bid price of at least USD 1.00 from October 1 through October 14. The confirmation formally closed a listing matter that began with a Nasdaq notice on November 5, 2025.
PLAYSTUDIOS completed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split on September 30, with split-adjusted trading beginning on October 1. The filing links the restored compliance to the ten-session bid-price record but does not describe the exchange confirmation as a change to the company's operating outlook.
What the split changes
The reverse split reduced the number of shares outstanding while increasing the per-share trading price on a split-adjusted basis. Investors therefore need to distinguish the Nasdaq listing requirement from the company's underlying game performance and from any later share-price movement.
The regulatory resolution removes the immediate minimum-bid-price overhang for the Nasdaq Capital Market listing. It does not by itself provide guidance on revenue, earnings or future share-price performance.
Gaming and rewards remain central
PLAYSTUDIOS develops and operates free-to-play casual games for mobile and social platforms. Its portfolio combines original and published titles with the playAWARDS loyalty platform, which lets players earn real-world rewards from entertainment, retail, travel, leisure and gaming partners across 17 countries and four continents, according to the company's investor relations overview. Based in Las Vegas, the company is a smaller listed social-casino operator than Playtika, Aristocrat's Product Madness and Light & Wonder's SciPlay, which compete for players in free-to-play casino apps, as described by Squawka.
