MUJI adds eight skincare products
A September 30 industry report on note.com said MUJI announced the Relaxing skincare series on September 28, 2026, with sales beginning October 7. The line contains eight products, including body scrub, hand cream, sheet mask and sleeping cream, priced from JPY 990 to JPY 1,990.
The product range gives Ryohin Keikaku a concrete retail event ahead of its next results. The report said the products use plant oils, herbal extracts, ceramides and vitamin C derivatives, positioning the line around a shared Herbal Woody scent rather than a single item launch.
Revenue rises 16.9 percent

Revenue increased 16.9 percent from the comparable period, while operating profit rose 36.0 percent, producing an operating margin of 11.7 percent.
The same report listed 708 stores in Japan and 755 overseas at the end of May 2026, or 1,463 locations in total. Its regional figures show why the upcoming results matter: East Asia generated JPY 212.812 billion in operating revenue during the nine month period, while the Americas contributed JPY 37.783 billion.
October 14 sets the next test
finanzen.ch reported on September 29, 2026, that Ryohin Keikaku is scheduled to present the quarter ended August 31, 2026, on October 14, 2026. Nine analysts forecast quarterly revenue of JPY 224.31 billion, 15.90 percent above the year-earlier JPY 193.54 billion, while three analysts expect EPS of JPY 20.43 versus JPY 13.67.
That forecast sets a clear numerical hurdle for the next report. The comparison also puts the nine month result in context, because the expected quarterly revenue would represent 32.5 percent of the nine month total.
