Sabeco is planning a major interim cash dividend after reporting mixed third-quarter results. Upside, citing CafeF, reported the plan on October 30, 2026.
Dividend Schedule Takes Shape
The company plans to pay an interim cash dividend for 2026 at a rate of 30 percent. The shareholder registration deadline is December 29, 2026, while payment is scheduled for February 2, 2027.
Vietnam Beverage Company holds 53.59 percent of Sabeco, according to the report, and would receive the largest portion of the distribution. The State Capital Investment Corporation holds 36 percent and is also due a substantial payment.
Quarterly Profit Moves Lower
Sabeco's third-quarter net revenue increased 3.8 percent year on year, while gross profit rose 6.7 percent. Net profit, however, declined 9.4 percent to nearly VND1,272 billion.
The nine-month figures were stronger. Net revenue increased 5.1 percent to more than VND20,029 billion, while after-tax profit rose 8.9 percent to nearly VND3,761 billion. Operating cash flow reached nearly VND4,124 billion, an increase of 23.1 percent from the comparable period.
What Investors Should Watch
The dividend proposal gives investors a defined corporate-action timetable, while the quarterly figures point to pressure on profitability despite higher revenue and gross profit. The next focus is whether earnings momentum and cash generation can support the planned distribution through the payment date.
